Three generations at SRB and Chertsey CC

My name is Paul Russell and I’m the Managing Director of SRB services. I’ve grown up in the local area and have played cricket for Chertsey Cricket Club for many years.

We’re a family business that was started in Addlestone by my father and his brother-inlaw back in 1964. I’m actually the son of the “R’ in SRB Services.

I’ve worked in the business for over 30 years myself and have seen the business evolve and develop to how you see us today.

Since 1984 we have concentrated on Bosch and Miele domestic appliances as they are high quality well made machines that we are proud to sell. We were one of the first shops in Surrey to be a sales and service dealer for Bosch and have one of the largest displays of Bosch free standing and Bosch built in appliances in Surrey.

We have been a long standing sales and service agent for Miele, but more recently have become a Miele specialist centre, which means that we can now offer you the whole Miele range if you want it.  We also have the largest display of Miele appliances in the area for you to browse at.

We pride ourselves on delivering the best possible service at the best possible price. The way I have always worked is to consider that I may well have served your parents in my younger days and I want to have one of my own kids serving your children in the future. With this in mind, we make decisions that are ‘whole life’ ones. We’d rather sort out problems for you to ensure you want to continue to do business with us in the future.

That’s why the price you see with SRB is the ‘delivered and installed‘ price, with absolutely no hidden extras.

If you’ve been a customer of ours for years, or even if you’ve never visited our showroom, you certainly wouldn’t recognise it now as we have just completed a major transformation of the Addlestone store. We’ve increased our showroom space so that we can add our wonderful  Brigitte kitchen display. They, like us,  are a family run business and they pride themselves on their excellent reputation for quality, style and value.

Mark is the manager of our kitchen business and his expertise in space usage and creating ‘the golden triangle’ for the perfect kitchen is legendary. In no time at all, he can show you what your existing space will look and feel like with the aid of the worlds leading kitchen design software that gives you near photo quality images. This service is free and we will provide you with a design to take away and think about.

But technology is for nothing if the service is lacking. At SRB Services, we pride ourselves on service. Our aim is to make you a customer for life. we want for you to be so delighted with our service and products, that you not only tell your friends and family, but you and them come back again and again. We’ve always had very high standards of workmanship and service and we have no intention of letting them drop now. That’s the thing about running a family business is that if you don’t do it well enough, you have a family that don’t hesitate to tell you!!

And finally, I’d like to introduce you to the rest of the team. They’re a great bunch. They really know their products and will always advise you what is best for your particular circumstances. They are genuinely not about trying to sell you a product that you don’t need or even a spec that is too high for your requirements.  They get their satisfaction in helping you make adecision that is just right for you and that you will be thoroughly delighted with for many years to come.
